One contractor for splice, place, drill, locate and civil. The trades that normally hand a build to each other work off the same schedule here.

A fibre build stalls in the gaps between contractors: the drill crew finishes and the splicers are two weeks out, or the locate ticket lands after the trench is open. SKATEL runs all six disciplines out of Acheson with its own crews, so the sequence is a scheduling decision rather than a negotiation. Larger drilling scopes are the one exception, supported by established partner contractors across Alberta and British Columbia.
